What is Check-out?
The Check-out Module enables hoteliers to allow their guests to complete the check-out process online. This module always works in conjunction with the Payment Protection Module, ensuring a seamless and integrated experience.
What is the Set Up for the Check-out Module?
The set up process for the Check-out Module consists of two steps:
- Establish the connection with your payment channel.
- Define your communication strategy with guests to ensure a seamless online check-out process.
What will be the Guest Workflow?
Once you have established the connection with your Payments Channel and configured the Guestlink templates, guests will be able to complete online check-outs.
Depending on the chosen communication strategy, the flow may vary. If the "Search form link" option is selected, guests will need to search the booking with their locator and arrival date. On the other hand, if the "Deeplink" option is chosen, guests will proceed directly to the booking summary.
- Booking summary: If there are any pending charges, guests will see the booking summary screen and will need to review and confirm the charges.
- Payment: After reviewing the charges and entering their card details, guests will see a confirmation message indicating that everything went smoothly.
- Complete check-out: Finally, the guest will need to add their email address to complete the check-out process and receive the confirmation email.
