What are Payments Channels?
To enable guests to securely pay all their charges at any point during their guest journey, connection with a Payments Channel is required. This connection is essential as the Payment Protection module is not standalone and requires integration with a Payments Channel to function properly.
To access this section, click on the button that says "Payment Channels" in the side menu of the Dashboard.
How can I Connect with my Payments Channel?
To connect with your Payments Channel through Civitfun, you'll need to navigate to the "Payment Channel" section in the dashboard. To establish the connection, click on the "Select" button in the platform column and select your Payment Channel.
After selecting your Payment Channel, you'll see the chosen option. To establish the connection, you'll need to add the Connection and Configuration data. Click the 'pencil' button to view these fields.
Upon clicking the 'pencil' button, all fields will be revealed. To establish the connection, input the following data:

Activate Payments:
- Disabled: Payment process will be deactivated.
- Required: Guests must pay all their charges.
- Required + taxes: Guests must pay all their charges + tourist taxes.
- Optional: Payment for the charges will be optional for the guests.
- Optional + taxes: Payment for the charges + tourist taxes will be optional for the guest.

Payment with card:
- Disabled: Pay by card option will be deactivated (thus not appearing as a payment option for the guest).
- Optional: Paying by card will be optional.
- Required: Paying by card will be mandatory.

Warranty card: Warranty card refers to the process in which the card number is stored as a guarantee (a €1 charge is made solely as a trial).
- Disabled: Pay by warranty card option will be deactivated (thus not appearing as a payment option for the guest).
- Required: Paying by warranty card will be mandatory.
- Currency: The currency in which you want the price to be displayed to the guest (if the customer is foreign and pays with another currency, the bank will handle it at the time of payment)
Once the platform is selected and all data is added, simply click the "Save" button to establish the connection.
