🔍 What is the Mossos d'Esquadra Guest Reporting system?

The Mossos d'Esquadra Guest Reporting portal is the official platform of the Catalan regional police for collecting and managing data of guests staying at tourist accommodations. 🏨📊

It is part of the implementation of Royal Decree 933/2021, aimed at ensuring public safety and tracking the movement of individuals within Spain.

👥 Who must register?

All accommodations operating in Catalonia are required to register, including:

  • Hotels and hostels
  • Rural houses
  • Tourist apartments
  • Campsites and hostels
  • Vacation rentals (VUT)
📅 Important: From December 2, 2024, all establishments must register every guest, including minors under 14, and report bookings and cancellations. 

🛠️ How to register on the portal

  1. Go to the official portal: registreviatgers.mossos.gencat.cat
  2. Click on “Alta de establecimiento” (Register establishment).

  1. Fill out the PI-15 form with the required details.

  1. Digitally sign the form.
  2. Attach a scanned copy of the ID (DNI/NIE/NIF) of the legal representative.
  3. Submit the form electronically.
📅 Important: If online submission is not possible, refer to the “Documentation” section of the portal for alternative steps.

  • Completed and digitally signed PI-15 form
  • Scanned copy of the ID of the legal representative
  • Additional documents as required by the portal’s user manual

Once approved, you’ll receive your establishment code and access credentials by email. 📧🔑
