How can I Effectively Communicate the Process of Generating Electronic Keys to my Guests?
After establishing the connection with the Door Opening Platform and completing door mapping, share the door opening link with guests for them to generate their electronic keys through three methods:
- Guestlink: If you lack an email marketing tool, use Guestlink for seamless communication and to automate key creation messages. Simply activate a pre-stay template in the 'Guestlink' section by clicking 'Create Template' button:
Select the template type "Pre-Stay" and scheduling "Email for key generation on the day of arrival". Customize the email to your liking, and once ready, save it (ensure that you have translated the email into all enabled languages):
From that point on, once the email is active, your guests will automatically receive the following email on the day of arrival:
- Search form link: Sending the standard door opening link leading to the search form. The link will be as follows (you must add the hotel name in "hotel_slug", e.g. /hotel-test/):

This link will direct the guest to the search form, which you have predefined from "Configuration" in the side menu of the Dashboard under the "Search Form Fields" section:

Deeplink: Sending the deeplink leading directly to the electronic key generation. The link will be as follows (you must add the hotel name in "hotel_slug", e.g. /hotel-test/; the booking code in "booking_code", e.g. 2637615167094; the entrance date in "entrance_date", e.g. 2024-04-29):
When the guest clicks on the link you provided, they will see the following screen:
