What is Paperless and Push Paperless?
The T-Paperless Module enables hoteliers to simplify check-in and elevate guest service with a flexible kiosk solution. Paperless and Push Paperless serve as front desk tools, providing a hybrid check-in experience. The module operates seamlessly on a tablet device, maintaining two-way synchronization with the PMS to ensure real-time data updates and smooth operations.
What is the Set Up for Paperless and Push Paperless Module?
The set up process for the Paperless and Push Paperless Module consists of four-five steps:
- Configure the appearance of T-Paperless.
- Set the maximum display time in T-Paperless.
- Download the T-Paperless app on your tablet.
- Configure the Web application or PMS from which the push notification will be sent.
What will be the Guest Workflow?
Once the Paperless or Push Paperless module setup is complete, guests can start checking in using the hotel’s reception tablet.
For Paperless check-in, the procedure mirrors that of online check-in. The receptionist can retrieve the reservation from the daily reservation list by for the guest's first and last name.
Alternatively, if Push Paperless has been configured, they can send a push notification from the PMS or the Civitfun application, which will open the reservation directly on the tablet.
Since the tablet is located at the reception desk, the information from the PMS will automatically populate the check-in form. This allows the guest to simply verify that all details are correct.
If configured, the guest will have the option to review the legal documents during check-in. All documents can be signed at once using a single signature.
Once signed, the process will automatically proceed to the next guest. Throughout the check-in process, it is possible to switch languages or access the reservation summary to change the guest or complete check-in at any time.
When check-in is completed for all guests in the reservation the process will be finalized.
