What is Push Paperless through PMS with Civitfun?
The Push Paperless system is designed for seamless access with a single click from a Property Management System (PMS).
To ensure the proper functionality of the Push Paperless service, each hotel must provide the IP addresses used to access the push notification web portal. To add the IP addresses, go to the Civitfun dashboard and navigate to the "Paperless push" section.
Add all IP addresses used to access the push notification web portal, separated by commas.
After the activation and configuration are complete, Civitfun provides a template URL that must be customized with reservation and guest details to enable Push Paperless access:
https://paperless-push.civitfun.com/API-KEY/hotel-civitfun/RESERVATION_ID/GUEST_ID
This URL grants access to the Push Paperless application.
- paperless-push.civitfun.com: Fixed domain for the application, provided by Civitfun
- API-KEY: Access it through the Civitfun dashboard.
- RESERVATION_ID: Unique identifier for the reservation in the PMS, which must be replaced accordingly
- GUEST_ID: Unique identifier for the guest in the PMS, which must be replaced accordingly
When you access this URL with the required values substituted, the Push Paperless application will open.
The application should be accessed in a web environment. We recommend adding a feature within the PMS that allows you to open this URL with a single click, such as a button that collects the necessary data and generates the URL automatically.
As shown in the image below, the Push Paperless application screen displays all available devices at the hotel. You simply need to select the tablet to which you want to send the Push. You can find the tablet's ID on the tablet itself, either on the language screen or the reservation search screen.
Once the Push is sent, a green notification will appear, confirming that the Push has been successfully delivered.
