How can I Effectively Manage Cross-Selling Request and Approval/Rejection Notifications?
After creating all available services, products and transfers and sharing the cross-selling link with your guests, they will begin to request items. To manage this effectively, ensure that both the request notification and approval/rejection templates are activated in Guestlink.
Activate Request Notifications
The Cross-Selling request email is designed to notify the hotel employees when guests have requested a service, product or transfer for their reservation. This individual will then need to access the Civitfun dashboard to accept or reject this request.
To activate the Cross-Selling request email, enable the pre-stay template for cross-selling requests. To do this, navigate to the "Guestlink" section and click on the "Create Template" button:
Select the template type as "Pre-Stay" and scheduling as "Cross-sell request for hotelier". Customize the recipient of the email by adding the email of the person or team in your hotel responsible for approving or rejecting cross-sells. Personalize the email to your liking, and once it's ready, save it:
From that point forward, once the email is activated, you will automatically receive the following email each time an Cross-Selling request is made from a reservation.
Activate Approval/Rejection Notifications
The Cross-Selling approval/rejection emails are designed to notify the guest and hotel employees for service, product or transfer approvals and rejections. These emails will be sent automatically once the hotelier, upon receiving the Cross-Selling request email, has approved or rejected the request from the Civitfun dashboard.
To activate the Cross-Selling aproval/rejection emails, enable the pre-stay template for cross-selling approval and rejection. To do this, navigate to the "Guestlink" section and click on the "Create Template" button:
Select the template type as "Pre-Stay" and scheduling as "Cross-sell confirmation for Guest". Personalize the email to your liking, and once it's ready, save it. Do the same for the templates "Cross-sell Confirmation for Hotelier," "Cross-sell Rejection for Guest," and "Cross-sell Rejection for Hotelier." For the emails intended for the hotel, customize the recipient by adding the email address of the person or team in your hotel who should be informed about the approvals and rejections of services, products and transfer.
From that point forward, once the email is activated, both guests and you will automatically receive the following email each time a cross-selling request is approved or rejected.
