If you want to make sure that the online check-in is working correctly, you can easily run a test from the Civitfun dashboard or using your hotel’s Online Check-in link.
All you need are the details of a real reservation or the one you want to test.
✅ Steps to verify if Online Check-in is working
Log in to the Civitfun dashboard with your access credentials.
🌐 Searching using your hotel’s Online Check-in link
Go to the left-hand menu and click on “Hotels”, then choose the hotel you want to test. Click on the eye icon (View) to open the hotel's online check-in link:
Your online check-in link will open (URL: checkin.civitfun.com/hotel/hotel-name) and you can fill in the required fields with a valid reservation (booking number + check-in date), or run test check-ins using a trial reservation.
Once the data is entered and you click the "Continue" button, a loading screen will appear:
If the system finds the reservation, you should see the reservation details and be able to continue with the check-in:
🖥️ Searching using Online Check-in Validation from the Dashboard
Go to the left-hand menu and access the “PMS” section. Click the pencil icon (edit) to open the "Check-in Validation" panel and enter the reservation data you want to test.
Once the data is entered, click the "Test Booking" button to display the results.
The system will return the result of the reservation.
⚠️ What if it doesn’t work?
If a message appears like:
"Sorry for the inconvenience, online check-in could not be completed at this time", it may be due to:
- Incorrect reservation data
- The hotel is inactive or misconfigured
- PMS integration is not working

- If after checking the error from the "Online Check-in Validation" you cannot solve it.
