In the Traveler Registration Panel, each report may contain different types of errors. In this article, we will explain this specific error and its characteristics.
This error can occur in two scenarios:
Error in a guest within the same reservation:
The report is generated per guest (each line represents one person), so it’s possible that a record appears error-free while another guest in the same reservation contains an error.
In this case, the error indicates that the record cannot be sent because another guest in the same reservation has an error. 🚨👥⚠️
Error in the contract:
If the error mentions "in the contract", it means there is an issue in the contract header information.
The contract header includes data such as:
- Reservation reference
- Stay dates
- Number of guests
- Payment type
General error in all Guest Registrations
If all data appears with the error "Error in a guest of the reservation or in the contract" the problem is likely in the connection with the relevant authority (SES Hospedajes, Mossos o Ertzaintza)
In this case, if there is no batch number in any guest register, this indicate that the connection with the relevant authority must been lost.
Please check connection and ensure the credentials still available
❗Why is the error not highlighted in red in some cases?
In certain cases, the error may not appear highlighted in red, yet it can still prevent the document from being processed.
For example, if a guest’s document number contains extra spaces, the system might not recognize it as a visible error in red, but it still won’t process the document because the data is invalid.
