❓ Why does “Link Removed” appear on Booking.com?
In some cases, Booking.com may remove your online check-in link or display the message “Link Removed”. This happens because Booking.com requires that emails and links are pre-authorized in the extranet to be considered safe.
You may see this in two scenarios:
Example of an email sent through our Guestlink tool where Booking.com has blocked access.
Example of a message sent through Booking.com messaging that included our link and Booking.com removed it.
✅ Step 1: Check the settings in the extranet
Go to Property > Messaging Preferences and open the Security settings tab to authorize emails and links.
Booking.com Extranet: Property > Messaging Preferences.
Messaging Preferences section with the Security settings tab selected.
Review the list of "Your approved links" and make sure the Check-in URL is included if you use our "Guestlink" messaging.
Check-in URL: https://checkin.civitfun.com
If you have also configured Booking.com messaging with "PreStay" templates (sent by Booking.com's engine), ensure the specific link is also included.
EXAMPLE URL to embed in Booking.com messages:
https://checkin.civitfun.com/hotel/tu-hotel/bookingSearchForm?channel=bookingcommessages
If you are not sure whether Booking.com messages are enabled, also check how to reach Messaging Preferences from the menu:
📍 Where to get your correct link in Civitfun
The valid link is in your Civitfun Dashboard > Marketing > DEEPLINK: “Aumenta la conversión de tus Online Check-ins con Booking.com”.
🔄 Step 2: If the issue persists (refresh the approved URL)
Go to the Booking.com extranet, open “Security settings” and remove the online check-in URL from your approved links.
EXAMPLE: https://checkin.civitfun.com/hotel/tu-hotel/bookingSearchForm?channel=bookingcommessages
Save the changes and then add the Civitfun URL again and save once more. This refresh makes Booking.com update its internal configuration and stop removing the link.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I review “Approved links”?
Recommended after changes to your domain, sender address, or security configuration.
Is it better to authorize a single URL or the whole domain?
If check-in generates guest-specific URLs, authorizing the domain is usually more practical (when applicable).
Do I need to enable anything for emails besides links?
Yes. Make sure the email address(es) are authorized from the same Security settings screen if you send via Booking.com.
Can I automate sending the link?
Yes, with Message templates and/or integrations. Review template settings and auto-replies in Booking.com.
